That just *is*. I like being organized and having the illusion of control over things. <BR/><BR/>At (almost) 48, I feel old and young. Old because I lost my mom, I have to worry about my dad instead of the other way around, my neck always hurts, my blood pressure readings are a bit troubling, and I think a lot about boring financial things. You figure if you live to 80 (and even in my family there are many that have) 40 is the halfway point, they don't call it middle age for nothing. <BR/><BR/>All that to say, I still feel very much like a kid at heart and while I am told I look much younger than my actual age. My reality is that I don't physically feel young at all. <BR/><BR/>However I have had life passages such as the loss of a parent that make me really aware that we all get old. <BR/><BR/>Anyway getting older is an amazing journey and while I think yes our bodies do start doing wonky things at heart we are still young. <BR/><BR/>Sorry to be so jumbled here I am multi-tasking. ;-)blackgirlinmainehttp://blackgirlinmaine.wordpress.com/noreply@blogger.com
